“science is not for men alone, that is why I did it in SHS” – Francisca Lamini

Just after the 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths quiz ended, one person who became a household name was no other than Ketasco’s female contestant, Francisca Lamini.

A total of $20,000 in financial aid and scholarships has been given to her since then. She was even able to go on a trip to Dubai with her buddies.

During a recent interview, the academic queek has explained her motivation and how she pushed herself so hard to achieve her goals.

The 18-year-old brilliant girl stated that she harbored the dream of growing to become a medical doctor and that inspired her to study hard through basic school and also to choose general science as a course in high school.
