Zheng Qinwen Biography?
Zheng, originally from Shiyan, Hubei, spent a significant amount of time in Chengdu, Sichuan during her early years, as her mother hailed from there.
At the age of eight, she left Shiyan to undergo training in Wuhan. It was during this time that she drew inspiration from Li Na’s remarkable victory at the 2011 French Open. Subsequently, Zheng had the opportunity to train under Li’s former coach, Carlos Rodriguez, in Beijing.
In January 2021, Zheng showcased her talent by emerging victorious at the Tennis Future Hamburg in Germany. She triumphed over Linda Fruhvirtová in the final of the $25k event, which took place at the Hamburger Tennis-Verband venue.
Continuing her winning streak, on 20 June 2021, Zheng secured another triumph at the $60k Macha Lake Open in Staré Splavy. She defeated Aleksandra Krunić in two sets to claim the title.
Furthermore, Zheng made her debut on the WTA Tour at the Palermo Ladies Open. Notably, she achieved her first victory by defeating the second seed, Liudmila Samsonova, in the opening round.
