If you can’t speak English, don’t think of traveling abroad – Kyeiwaa speaks from experience
Kyeiwaa, also known as Rose Akua Atta Mensah, has issued a warning to those who are planning to travel outside of Ghana and do not speak the Queen’s language.
The Kumawood actress, who has been living in the United States for several years, recently returned to Ghana.
Kyeiwaa experienced challenges during her time in the States, with language barriers being the most significant issue due to her inability to speak English.
Kyeiwaa shared her experience and explained that even though she had communication skills from acting, expressing herself freely was difficult in the United States.
She cautioned anyone who is planning to travel without English proficiency to reconsider as they would struggle to communicate with non-Ghanaians.
Kyeiwaa also expressed frustration with being unable to find work despite having experience in certain fields.
She concluded by emphasizing the importance of education in securing employment in the United States.
