A white woman who made the long journey from her country to Ghana to marry her online boyfriend made headlines.
A video of the wedding that went viral on social media has generated discussion.
The couple allegedly met online and decided to get married after talking for a while.
The smitten white woman traveled to Northern Ghana to marry her man in an Islamic ceremony.
“I’m so excited. It’s such a beautiful day, and a lot of new things happened. I take a lot of experience to my home, and I have to tell my parents. They are very curious. But it was very nice,” she said after her wedding.
The woman’s family wasn’t present.
