Kofi Kinaata, a multi-award-winning highlife singer, has said that his mother had a major influence on his decision to pursue a career in music.
According to him, when he was a youngster, his mother desired that he pursue a career as a football player or musician.
In Kinaata’s words, “I am overjoyed because my mother told me when I was around six or seven years old that she wanted me to sing or play football since I was a really excellent footballer, and now I’m singing,” he said.
Speaking with Joy Entertainment’s Becky, Kinaata say his mother is fulfilled with the career he has chosen.
“I know she is fulfilled. She is happy and I am happy too,” he said on E-Vibes.
“My mother sings a lot In the house, she has a lot of melodies that she plays around. She makes me feel that the thing is in the family and if I am doing it, I am not stealing it or I am not going wayward, so I should just focus and do it,” he said.
