A 30-year-old man, identified as Emmanuel David, is currently on the run after allegedly murdering his friend, Fabian Antia, who provided him with lodging in Benin City, Edo State.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
According to a source, “Emmanuel was staying with Fabian and his brothers.” The apartment housed four of them. On Sunday, Fabian’s brothers went out, leaving him and Emmanuel at home.
When they returned the next day, on Monday, they discovered bloodstains throughout the house, but they couldn’t find either of them. Their phone numbers were unreachable, and the victim’s car was not in the compound.
They assumed they had fought and were injured, and they also assumed the victim had driven away after the fight. However, after several hours of waiting and no sign of them, they looked through the victim’s window and discovered his lifeless body in the room.
They rushed to call the cops, who broke down the door and discovered him dead. The suspect fled with his car and money. “
