“Shatta Wale thinks he’s smart but he is not” – Stonebwoy puts Shatta Wale in the right position
Stonebwoy, the Afrobeats and Afrodancehall sensation, has poked fun at his colleague and relative Shatta Wale in a recent social media post.
Shatta Wale, according to Stonebwoy, is not as smart as he portrays himself on social media.
The ‘Hajia Bintu’ hitmaker has always positioned himself as the sharpest artist in the Ghanaian music industry, viewing music as a business and attempting to maximize his talents in any way available to him.
In a recent X Space interview with news presenter and broadcaster Serwaa Amihere, the dancehall King, as he is fond of saying, reinforced his claims about musicians being savvy and getting money from their profession.
According to a recent tweet, Stonebwoy believes Shatta Wale’s clever tactics are all a result of ‘fan fooling,’ a term used to argue that someone is playing with your emotions.
In response to the news that former Black Queens goalie Memunatu Sulemana was now living in a wooden kiosk, a fan pointed to Shatta Wale’s demands for artists to be wise in order to avoid future financial difficulties.
“Let me tell you, that smartness he’s talking about is fan fooling,” Stonebwoy said of the fan. If the government does not compensate you, women’s football will not be established.”
