“We shared the plight of 56yr old Opanin Safo, a cobbler who had been hit hard by the lockdown. We got to know in our interview with him that his working capital is not up to two hundred cedis. After sharing his story, we got nineteen people to donate seventeen thousand cedis to the poor and humble cobbler.
Words cannot describe how he felt after struggling to receive the money. We were there with an official of the Agricultural Development Bank, ADB who took Opanin Safo along to the bank to open an account for him. Many many thanks to each and everyone who donated. Changing lives is what we do best at CCF.”
