Afrobeat musician Noella Wiyaala has opened up on rumor circulating about her private marriage which many claims it was with her manager John Sherren.
speaking In an interview on Adom TV, the singer explained that she is yet to get married and stated that she has a boyfriend she disclosed that she cannot acknowledge that she’s a married woman because she hasn’t gone through her tribe traditional rite although the rumors about her private marriage is a bit of truth.
The singer noted that her family claim they don’t recognize her marriage since she has not gone through their traditional rites and will accept any man who comes to them to ask for her hand in marriage.
“They said I have a man but i didn’t do the introduction properly” she said.
Wiyaala said they will have to take her around the whole village to show she’s married before they recognize her marriage but the man is yet to do the knocking properly.
