‘I don’t know what is going on, anybody can use my name’ – Abass Sariki denies being Ayisha Modi’s husband
A Ghanaian businessman, Abass Sariki, has denied claims of being married to Ayisha Modi. In a recent interview, he clarified his relationship status with the controversial socialite and stated that he isn’t aware of such an arrangement.
Abass Sariki stated that his relationship with Ayisha Modi isn’t official. He is for everyone, and people can use his name as long as it’s not for criminal purposes or to harm someone. However, he won’t tolerate anyone using his name for anything negative. He further clarified that he is not married to anyone other than his two wives, and Ayisha isn’t a part of it.
Abass Sariki expressed his surprise at the rumours and disturbances surrounding their alleged marriage. He said that he doesn’t even know what’s going on and that people are troubling themselves. He is not bothered when people use his name for different reasons because he has other important matters to focus on.
Abass Sariki emphasized his priorities, which include building houses, taking care of his children and wives, and supporting widows. He expressed his desire for people to approach him with matters related to finances rather than focusing on rumours and relationships. He has no interest in involving himself in trivial matters concerning women.
The controversy surrounding Abass Sariki and Ayisha Modi’s alleged marriage gained attention in 2022 after the latter claimed on several occasions that they are a couple. Ayisha Modi had claimed to be married to Sariki, and even recently, she took to social media to define his place in her life.
