The church’s dubious operations have been exposed by a former pastor of the Lighthouse Chapel.
Bishop Okoh Mensah, one of the six who sued the church for failing to make their SSNIT donations, claimed that Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and his colleagues top pastors are living it up on earth while pushing members to invest in heaven.
In a recent interview, Okoh Mensah claimed that heaven is a deception perpetrated by senior pastors to deceive church members.
Members are told to deposit their treasures in heaven, while Bishop Dag and his associates keep theirs on earth, according to him.
“…Your top pastors and bishops aren’t thinking about heaven; they’re putting down roots on the ground!
“Heaven is used to control you as a card.” He stated, “You’re taught to save your treasures in heaven as they store greater treasures on earth.”
According to Okoh Mensah, church followers have been brainwashed to the point that they devote all of their resources to accumulating heavenly treasures.
He went on to say that anyone who tries to persuade a church member to focus on their education or professional progress rather than the church is painted as a heretic.
