After previously vowing to ensure that homosexuality is never legalized in Ghana, Captain Smart has now revealed a major plot twist regarding the controversial ANTI-LGBTQI+ bill.
Captain Smart claimed on ONUA TV this morning that homos*xuality has been secretly legalized and Nana Addo has yet to officially announce it to the general public.
Adding further to the controversy, the award-winning journalist stated that all civil society organizations in the country have been instructed to remain silent on the LGBTQI+ issue.
He went on to say that Hon Dafianor informed him that when it came time to present the ANTI-LGBTQI+ bill to parliament, the majority of members opposed to the legalization of LGBT rights were strategically dispatched on diplomatic missions.
Captain Smart, who appears to know more, has also accused lawyer Maurice Akoto Ampaw and NPP female chieftain, Madam Audrey, of accepting monetary contributions from members of the LGBTQI+ community in order to assist them in advancing their cause.
Gabby Otchere Darko, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s cousin, was also accused of helping the LGBTQI+ community behind the scenes after receiving a large sum of money from an outside body.
Additionally, Captain Smart expressed disappointment with the Christian Council’s sudden silence on the issue, after having previously led the campaign against the legalization of LGBTQI+ people and organizations.
The former Angel TV presenter also challenged the government to issue a press statement criminalizing homos*xuality if the act has not been legalized without Ghanaians’ knowledge.
