Guinness World Record Approves as Nigerian Man Applies to Watch Film for Over 121 Hours
Adebiyi Isreal, a man from Ekiti state in Nigeria, is planning to break the world record for the longest time spent watching films. He has applied to the Guinness World Records and has received approval for his plan.
Adebiyi shared a screenshot of an email he received from the Guinness World Records, which confirmed the approval of his application. The email stated that his application has been accepted for the title of “longest marathon watching films/movies (cinema).”
Adebiyi took to Twitter to share the news with his fans and friends. He expressed his gratitude to the Guinness World Records and asked everyone to anticipate his attempt.
According to the Guinness World Records website, the current record for the longest time spent watching films is held by Suresh Joachim, a man from Sri Lanka. He achieved the feat in Johannesburg, South Africa, after watching movies for 121 hours and 18 minutes in 2015.
