A few days ago, Oboy Siki, a popular Kumawood actor, claimed that Agya Koo’s new house was built with money he received from the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Agya Koo has since denied these allegations.
Agya Koo’s new house has been a topic of discussion since it was unveiled a few weeks ago. Some people have questioned how he was able to build such a massive house in the Ashanti Region.
Oboy Siki claimed that no actor in Ghana could build such a mansion with money earned from acting alone. He alleged that Agya Koo received a large sum of money from the NPP after endorsing Prez Nana Addo in the 2012 elections.
He also claimed that Agya Koo received another sum of money from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong after endorsing him to lead the NPP for next year’s election. Oboy Siki further alleged that Agya Koo used Kennedy Agyapong’s money to furnish his house.
Agya Koo denied these allegations and stated that he built his house with his own hard-earned money. He started building the house in 2007 when he was the top star in most Kumawood movies. Agya Koo added that people in his close circle knew about the construction of his house since 2007. He also stated that he would not pay attention to Oboy Siki’s negative comments about him.
