Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady, a broadcast journalist, has advised President Akufo-Addo to sit up and make a name for himself before retiring.
The outspoken journalist criticized the president’s failure to use Alan Kyeremanten’s potential while speaking on Okay FM.
She cited previous President Kufuor as an example of someone who was able to achieve something for Ghana by effectively utilizing the ‘intellectual’ people around him.
As a result, even in retirement, people visit him at his home to express their gratitude.
Vim Lady warned President Akufo-Addo that he should get rid of people who like being side chicks on the presidential plane rather than helping the country alter its fortunes.
She pointed out that if the president fails to have an impact, no one will want to identify with him once he retires.
