While some celebrities are appealing for the law to be tainted with kindness, others are reveling in the misfortunes of their fellow celebs and colleagues.
A day after appearing before an Accra Circuit Court for the first time, dancehall artist Shatta Wale landed to Ankaful Prison to begin his one-week detention, which began today.
Shatta was apprehended and charged with a crime after conducting an expensive prank that the Ghana Police Department did not find humorous. He turned himself in on Tuesday night after police started a hunt for him after he said he had been shot by masked assailants earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Medikal was said to have been detained yesterday for allegedly displaying guns on social media platforms.
The award-winning rapper wanted to live out the gangster lifestyle he depicts in his music videos in real life, so he filmed himself proudly flashing his freshly acquired American firearm to send a message to the rest of the world about his intentions.
It is unknown if the rapper’s brand new handgun is licensed or not, but if the rapper’s inquiry shows that the pistol is not licensed, he might face criminal charges.
In response to this, actor Prince David Osei stated that celebrities had asked for the system to be mended and active, and that this is precisely what they are experiencing now.
Prince David Osei advised celebrities who were demanding for the release of detained celebrities to keep their mouths silent and wait for the system to function as they had hoped.
