“You might not see me al!ve tomorrow” – Ukrainian President Says As He Leads His Troops To War.

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, reportedly informed European Union officials that they may see the last of him alive as a result of President Vladimir Putin’s invasion.

In a video chat with EU leaders on Friday, February 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky said he might not survive Putin’s assault on Ukrainian territory.

Zelenskyy is currently hiding in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, while Russian President Vladimir Putin orders over 100,000 troops to attack the country.

“We were scheduled to talk on the phone this morning,” Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said of Zelenskyy to his Parliament on Friday morning.

This may have been the last time we saw Zelensky,” Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said during the Thursday night discussion with Zelenskyy, according to the Swedish News Agency.

Zelenskyy stated in an early Thursday morning address, and intelligence indicated “the enemy has designated me as the number one target,” according to Zelenskyy.

On Thursday, US President Joe Biden imposed further penalties on Russian banks and oligarchs but refrained from sending soldiers into the country.

During a press conference, Biden stated: “We have no intention of fighting Russia.” “However, he said, “We want to send a clear message that the US and its allies will defend every inch of NATO territory.”

In a rare demonstration of public indignation over Putin’s invasion, over 1,700 anti-war protestors have been jailed in more than 50 Russian towns.
