Rev. Obofour, the founder and pastor of the APC church, has responded to those who chastised him for attending a party in Kumasi despite being a man of God.
According to Rev. Obofour, the CEO of Ridge Condos asked him to attend his celebration because they had been friends for a long time.
As a gesture of politeness, he decided to attend the party at the invitation of his friend.
Over the weekend, Rev. Obofour and his entourage, together with a slew of Accra celebs, descended on Kumasi for the all-black celebration on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Ridge Condos.
Hajia Bintu, James Gardiner, Sister Derby, Medikal, Shatta Michy, Kalybos, Yaw Dabo, and others were among those in attendance.
Rev. Obofour, who had left his wife and children at home, went there to spray 200 cedis on slay queens. He danced with a few of them as well.
This behavior by the man of God drew harsh criticism from many, who chastised him for not portraying the life of a Christian.
Obofour’s wife was chastised for allowing her husband to go to nightclubs while she worked abroad.
Rev. Obofour decided to explain himself after receiving so much criticism for attending the party.
