Two people arrested in connection to the houseboy who murdered his madam (Video)

The Ghana Police Service has detained two more individuals in connection with the death of a houseboy in Apaaso, an Ashanti region suburb.

Despite fleeing after perpetrating this horrible act, Alister John, the key suspect in the case, was apprehended.

Alister John had just been hired two weeks before the incident and had used the fact that he was living alone with his employer to conduct this heinous crime.

His job had been as a security guard, responsible for keeping the house safe.

According to reports, this young man was already a wanted criminal for a previous offense committed months earlier.

In that case, he had gotten a job as a Mobile Money Vendor through the same site but had vanished with the money, evading capture until this most recent example.

According to a fresh update, the police have arrested two people in connection with the murder for separate roles they played.

“POLICE APPRESS TWO SUSPECTS IN THE MURDER OF A 35-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AT APAASO NEAR SOKOBAN AMPABAME IN THE ASHANTI REGION.”

On September 14, 2023, the police detained two suspects in connection with the murder of a 35-year-old woman named Princess Afia Ahenkan at Apaaso, near Sokoban Ampabame in the Ashanti Region, through a targeted intelligence-led operation.

The operation followed a Police report on the deceased’s movements and the subsequent finding of her body in her garage by Police crime scene experts.

Further police investigation led to the arrest of suspect Allister John, the deceased’s housekeeper, and his accomplice, James Anokye, in Accra, who fled into hiding with the deceased’s KIA Sportage private automobile with registration number GS 307-21, which they later sold.

The car, however, was discovered at Adenta with its documentation and was subsequently confiscated at the Oyibi Police Station for further investigation, while efforts are being made to apprehend the buyer to assist the investigation.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been placed in the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.”
