Famous Kumawood actor Lil Win has stirred up controversy in Ghana with his recent comments about the country’s regions.
In a viral video on social media, Lil Win claimed that only Accra and Kumasi were the relevant regions in Ghana.
He dismissed the other regions as mere accessories without any significant value.
Many Ghanaians were displeased with Lil Win’s comments, calling them unnecessary and insensitive to those in other regions of the country.
They argued that Ghana is made up of several other regions, each with its unique cultural identity and history. Dismissing the contributions of these regions was seen as disrespectful.
Some people came to Lil Win’s defense, saying that he was expressing his personal opinion and had the right to do so.
They also noted that Accra and Kumasi were indeed the two most developed regions in the country.
On the other hand, many netizens who had issues with the comic actor’s statement made it known and told him their mind.
