Taxi driver and his friend arrested after human head was found in their car (see details)
The police arrested two young men on Monday with a “fresh” human head.
The two were apprehended at Kasoa in the Ga South Municipality on Sunday evening around 8 p.m., after the vehicle they were traveling in was involved in an accident.
According to witnesses, the human head was discovered in a bag inside the back seat of the vehicle after the vehicle somersaulted several times and landed in a ditch.
According to witnesses, the Amanfrom police were immediately informed, resulting in the arrest of one person, but one other who managed to flee the scene was later apprehended by the police.
According to a witness who spoke on the condition of anonymity to the Daily Guide, the two suspects (identities withheld by the police) were driving a Toyota Corrolla Taxi cab with registration number GW 5532-21 from Kasoa towards Amasaman.

When they arrived in the Hobor area, the driver attempted to avoid a pothole, causing the vehicle to summersault and land in a ditch.
“We rushed to save occupants in the vehicle, but to our surprise, we saw a fresh human head, concealed in bag that got torn as a result of the accident.”
We immediately called on the Amanfrom police for assistance,” the witness said.
Meanwhile, based on information gathered, the Accra Regional Police have taken over the investigation of the case.
