Stop pressuring us with ‘When are u going to marry’ – Berla Mundi slams critics
Berlinda Addardey, also known as Berla Mundi, a Ghanaian media figure, has blasted society over delicate issues such as marriage and childbirth.
According to Berla Mundi, many women are subjected to emotional and psychological pressure from society as a result of their childlessness and the delay of their marriage.
When their marriages are delayed, many women over the age of 25 face pressure from their families or society.
Those who are married but have not yet had children face pressure from society and family as a result of their childlessness.
Berla Mundi has turned to Twitter to criticize society for increasing pressure on women to marry and have children.
She claimed that it had a negative impact on the mental health of these women, and basically, she is one of them.
Berla Mundi wrote;
“you are aging. When are you going to marry? Oh, you got married? Congrats. When are you having a baby? Dear society, why do you keep asking these? Do you think of the emotional and psychological pressure you place on these places?”
