A happy marriage meant to last till the end of time ended in tears barely 48 hours after the wedding.
Jamilu Abdulhamid, a Nigerian man, perished in a horrific accident just 48 hours after his wedding.
Saratu Abdul Salisu, the deceased’s wife, was married on July 11 in Kano.
A collision occurred on the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Saturday, according to the groom’s friend, Kabiru Garba.
The man died on the spot, but his wife was injured and is being treated in a hospital.
Garba posted the news on Facebook.
