Sista Afia, a singer from Ghana, has said that while she would love to work with Black Sherif on a song, this is not the right time to do it.
In a recent Instagram video, the “Asuoden” hitmaker noted that since Black Sherif has become well-known in Ghana and consequently has a lot on his plate, it is not the right moment to approach him about a feature.
‘‘Black sherif is somebody, I mean it is always timing and with me as an individual, I believe in time, and yeah, he is the big star in Ghana right now and probably when you are a big star, it is a whole lot of pressure on you but also that doesn’t mean if you want a feature with the person, you will not try,’’ Sista Afia said.
Sista Afia went on to say that because she has experience in the music business, she is aware of the ideal moment to get in touch with a singer for a feature.
‘‘But you know, I have been in the game for a while and I know when it is time to move to somebody and when not to, right now he has a lot of pressure on him and it would be amazing to feature him,’’ she stated.
