After sharing a throwback photo, the wife of legendary rapper Okyeame Kwame sparked outrage on social media.
Annica Nsiah-Apau was a young girl in the photo posted on her Instagram page on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
Annica wore a skirt and top made of a black and white fabric similar to that used at Ghanaian funeral thanksgivings.
She accessorized her outfit with a pair of black shoes. Mrs. Okyeame also wore what appeared to be prescription glasses.
Annica said she wasn’t sure whether to post the photo or not.
She explained that her spectacles were not for entertainment purposes.
“I kept wondering… should I post [sic] or shouldn’t I post [sic]?” But, hey, it’s Thursday. #tbt to my adolescence PS: the sp3rs were not for swag… “I couldn’t see clearly without them,” she admitted.
