After stealing and selling her father’s cellphone to fund the planning of her boyfriend’s birthday party, a woman has been expelled from her parents’ house.
The woman, known only as Candy (not her real name), described how she was forced to leave her house because she wanted to throw her lover a lavish birthday party.
She claimed that as her boyfriend’s birthday approached, she wanted to throw him a party but lacked the funds to do so.
When she approached her father for money, he said he didn’t have any and that the family was barely getting by on what little money he had saved.
She started considering ways to get money for the day because her father’s response wasn’t what she wanted to hear. One idea that came to mind was to sell one of her father’s mobile phones.
Candy claimed that although her father had two mobile phones, he hardly ever used one of them, so she decided to sell it and use the proceeds to plan her boyfriend’s birthday party and get the sneakers he had been wanting.
Her father discovered the phone missing when she got home, so he reported their housekeeper for stealing it. However, the family eventually learned that she was the one who had stole the phone and had used the proceeds to plan a birthday party for her lover.
She was expelled from the house because of the way she caused her father to lose crucial contacts, paperwork, and contracts, which led to her siblings’ dropping out of school as well.
She made the decision to move in with her boyfriend, but when her calls to his phone went unanswered, she was forced to visit him instead. Once there, she overheard him and his pals calling her a “mugu” and disparaging her.
She barged in after spending more than 30 minutes waiting at his door and was horrified to see that they were having sex, indicating that her partner was also gay.
When she hurried out the door, her lover didn’t follow and apologize; instead, he got up, closed the door, and prevented her from approaching him.
Candy revealed that since the incident occurred years ago, her boyfriend has not tried to get in touch with her. As a result, she is currently staying with a friend because her family is also unwilling to see her face.
