Michy, a Ghanaian musician and social media influencer, believes that her split from her ex-fiance Shatta Wale was part of God’s plan, despite their close relationship.
On August 12, 2023, the TV show host stated this on the Showbiz A to Z program with ace radio broadcaster Kwame Dadzie on Accra’s Joy FM.
Michy told Delay in an interview that it would be difficult for her to duplicate her relationship with Reggae/Dancehall star Shatta Wale with any other man. Dadzie raised this point. Wale, she claimed, was more like a brother to them, and they were great friends.
“I always told him we’re better off as best friends, business partners, than dating, and God has found a way, no matter how difficult that way came through or by, to restore us to what we’re supposed to be.” Michy disclosed.
She also recognized how difficult it would be to replicate their special bond.
Michy, then Shatta Michy, began dating Shatta Wale when she was 17 years old. However, the relationship ended in tears due to unanticipated circumstances.
Despite their split, Michy and Shatta continue to support each other in the most loving way. Majesty, their son, is also co-parented by them.
