The extraordinary story of the all-male pals was published online by Blessings Ramoba, President and CEO of the Mining Forum of South Africa, in a post that has subsequently elicited positive responses.
He posted a photo of the men when they were still using drugs and another showing their dramatic metamorphosis after they quit.
As you might expect, the photographs he published were supposed to convince other young people that they, too, can win the battle against unhealthy habits.
He used Twitter: ”Today they celebrate 3 years of being drug-free. On the left is a picture of them 3 years ago, and on the right is a picture of them yesterday. ”
