Fire damaged Silver 98.3 FM, a renowned radio station in Kumasi Bantama.
On Saturday, March 18, 2023, the station on the final floor of the Silvercrest building caught fire. The cause of the fire at the radio station remains unclear.
According to DJ KA, a Silver 98.3 fm radio journalist, the fire started in the early morning hours when their sports team was preparing for a sports program, and a technician on duty had to leap out the windows to save his life.
Images show practically every single thing, mainly electronics, fully destroyed.
However it was reported that there was one major casualty. It’s particularly terrible given that Kumasi Kejetia Market suffered the similar fate earlier this week.
