The shocking news of the lady’s death has swept social media, prompting people to express their grief.
Louisa Akorfa Afenyah, 29, was said to be expecting a child.
She had a thriving social media presence, with over 2,000 followers and thousands more friends.
Nobody expected her giving birth to be a problem because she was so young.
However, as we have seen time and again in Ghana, the most innocuous things can often turn deadly.
According to reports, she died in the labor ward during childbirth, taking both her own and her baby’s life.
