Reactions As Black Sherif’s Lookalike Raps His ‘Soja’ Song With Crooked Voice – Watch Video
While being interviewed on Kwaku Manu TV, Philemon Acquah, who looks like the VGMA 2023 Artiste of the Year Black Sherif, was seen rapping one of Black Sherif’s hit songs.
“I know all of Black Sherif’s songs,” he said.
When asked if he could sing any of his idol’s songs, Philemon confidently replied yes and proceeded to sing Soja, Kwaku the Traveller, and other songs from Black Sherif’s debut album, The Villain I Never Was.
Although many people found Philemon’s offbeat singing style and crooked voice amusing, the videos have since gone viral on the internet. As a result, Philemon has gained a lot of attention and support from fans of Black Sherif and other music enthusiasts. Some have even gone as far as suggesting that he collaborate with the artist on a song.
Despite the positive response, some critics have also expressed their concern about the potential for Philemon to be seen as a copycat or imitator of Black Sherif.
However, Philemon has assured his fans that he is simply a passionate admirer of the artist and hopes to create his own unique sound in the future.
