Police issue an arrest warrant for a man spotted firing an Ak-47 at A&C mall to celebrate 31st night (video)
A guy who discharged rounds in public on the night of December 31st at A&C Mall has been added to the police wanted list for unlawfully discharging a firearm in public.
The young unnamed male is seen shooting an AK47 into the air as he celebrates the new year in a video that has been circulating on social media for days.
It is illegal to discharge a firearm in public “without valid and required purpose under Section 209 of the Criminal Offences Act 29,” according to the police.
Following the assessment of the footage of the young man observed firing numerous bullets from a firearm assumed to be an AK 47 at ANC Mall in East Legon on December 31, 2021, the Police Administration has set a reward of GH 5,000.00 for anybody who can offer information leading to his arrest and conviction.
