Piesie Esther, a gospel singer from Ghana, posted a video of herself slicing meat for grilling to assist a roadside meat vendor in selling his meat.
Recently, she took over a meat seller’s post on the roadside, expertly slicing chicken legs and meat for grilling while singing and engaging with customers. Piesie Esther expressed her gratitude to God for transforming her life and bringing her success, even as she happily took on the role of an “Abokyi” meat seller.
“We are by the roadside today. Today, we are selling meat. God has glorified us because we know where we come from. Today, my name is Piesie Abokyi. Does anyone want to buy some of my meat?” Piesie asked.
Despite losing out to Black Sherif for the VGMA’s Artist of the Year award, Piesie Esther was gracious in congratulating him and expressing her pride in his achievement. Some were amazed at how calmly she took the loss, given that she was also a nominee in that category.
