No One Needs A White Wedding to Get Married, It’s Just A Party – Sulley Muntari’s Wife Menaye Donkor
Menaye Donkor, wife of Ghanaian footballer Sulley Ali Muntari has declared raised a strong point which explains that getting married is not as difficult (the is shouldn’t be fund consuming) as people perceive it provided there is love.
according to Menaye Donkor, there is no need to hold a white wedding to be legally married because it’s just a party. supporting her argument, she revealed that the traditional wedding is enough as she used her wedding with Sulley muntary as an example.

“We did a traditional wedding ceremony and that was what my Dad wanted which is the normal way so Sulley’s family respected that. We never did a white wedding because we all didn’t want to at that moment,” said Menaye
“I wanted to but after the traditional wedding, he was moving to another Club in England so relocating and all that was a whole lot and we didn’t want to add up plans for a white wedding,”
Menaye also stressed that white weddings are nothing but parties and a party can be held any time one wants.
“I think (white wedding) is just a party and not a wedding because if you have already registered your marriage with your wife then legally you are his wife. It is just a party and we have parties every day.”
however, in my opinion am in support of the wife of the football star that a traditional wedding is enough as it alone, makes a couple married before the law.
but this is not the case of many Ghanaians as White weddings have become a big part of marriages in Ghana and are becoming even more expensive by the day.
