Popular Ghanaian politician and MP Kennedy Agyapong have yet again proven that he does not speak lies by publicly calling out his wife as a corrupt woman who does not deserve to be the first lady of Ghana.
Stella Wilson Agyapong, the wife of a prominent politician and presidential candidate Kennedy Agyapong, incurred the wrath of her husband when she attempted to shield a purportedly corrupt health worker who exploited a woman at a government hospital.
Stella Wilson Agyapong’s actions caused her husband to become enraged.
According to the statement of the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, a lady he had met in a public area went up to him to tell him how a dishonest nurse was stealing money at a hospital in Ghana. The facility was located in Assin Central.
“A woman I meet detailed how a nurse who was attending to her friend’s daughter wrote a wrong receipt for her and how she took her on for writing a receipt of GH¢40 when she had paid GH¢250 at the hospital…my wife who was there with me and know me very well urged the woman not to mention the name of the hospital to me, that is why I say she’s corrupt. I would have easily called out the hospital in today’s interview in Kumasi,” he disclosed on Sompa TV.
The Member of Parliament who accused his wife of being corrupt also made the announcement that if she maintains the same attitude if he is president of Ghana, he would not hesitate to fire her.
“She is corrupt, she used to be very principle when she returned to Ghana from the United States…do you know why my wife is corrupt?…how do you change the nation with this. You want to be First Lady, I will sack you without hesitation with this attitude…was that her attitude when she living abroad?” he quizzed.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, his cherished wife, who had spent years working abroad, should have known better and not stand in his way, especially when he had plans of naming and shaming the perpetrator in order to serve as a warning to others.
