A man named Mathias is in a relationship with a woman named Janet Foakowaa from Akanten, and they share a room.
The man provides her with everything she needs, including daily money. The lady was at ease with him in the house, and according to Mathias, he usually keeps some of his money in his parents’ room.
The lady asked for a phone, but when he went to his parent’s room to pick up the money, Janet also came in, but she quickly left.
Mathias purchased a new phone for GHC600 and went shopping for about GHC1500 on the same day.
His parents were also taken aback by how he spent his money. Two weeks later, he went to get his money to buy blocks, but he discovered that some of them had been stolen.
Mathias was surprised because he had been keeping his money in his parents’ room for quite some time and nothing like this had happened.
He inquired about the missing money with the lady, but she denied any knowledge of the matter.
She even suggested he ask his parents about it, but he didn’t. A few weeks later, the lady informed him that she wanted to return to her hometown, but that she had decided to send all of her belongings.
Mathias then questioned her, so he returned to search through the girlfriend’s belongings. He discovered GHC480 in her bag, took the money, and later confronted Janet about it, but she denied it.
She later admitted that she went to take GHC20 from his bag when Mathias’s father entered the room, so she grabbed some of the money in the bag and brought it to their room.
The lady denied stealing the money. She went to her hometown but later came to Mathias’ house. He gave her GHC50 to prepare for him, but she packed the rest of her belongings and went back to her parent’s house, Janet later called to apologize for what she had done to him.
His girlfriend, on the other hand, later posted a picture of her ex-boyfriend on social media, claiming that she adores him.
Mathias claims that GHC2800 is missing from his money, and he is requesting that Janet return all of the money she took from his bag.
