Ini Edo, a popular Nollywood actress, and influencer has recounted her experience as a mother and how much has changed for her.
Despite the controversy surrounding her surrogacy, Ini Edo said in an interview with Stella Dimoko that she would not flaunt her baby on social media because she wants to keep her away from it.
In a recent interview with Fire FM, the mother of one said that parenthood has taught her that she can love someone else more than herself.
“The fact that you can actually love somebody else more than yourself,” was Edo’s response when asked how parenting has affected her.
She added, “All of a sudden, somebody else is more important than yourself.
“I’m somebody who just really love myself and my space. But then, you realize that before you start to think about yourself, you wake up in the morning and you’re not thinking of yourself.
“You’re thinking of your child.”
The actress said that she was now conscious of the fact that she was responsible for someone else’s life.
“There’s a consciousness that comes with the fact that you’re responsible for somebody else’s life,” Edo said.
