Her daughter had identified the man who answered the door as the father, therefore she had demanded that he take responsibility for the pregnancy.
The man claimed that the pregnancy was not his because he wasn’t the only male who had intercourse with the daughter.
When the woman’s temper finally boiled over, she struck at the man, and bystanders had to intervene to break up the fight. Before the young man ran into his room, she had engaged the peacemakers in combat as well.
