In a tragic incident, the daughter of the Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Kwaku Kyei Baffour, has been shot dead by unknown assailants.
The deceased, identified as Akua Serwaa, believed to be in her 30s, was attacked by gunmen in Bebu near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 3, 203, at around 8 pm. The police have confirmed the incident and are currently conducting investigations to determine the motive behind the attack.
They have assured the public that the perpetrators will be brought to justice in accordance with the law.
