The popular Ghanian actor, Majid Michel was born in Cantonments, a suburb of the Ghanaian capital Accra to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother on 22 September 1980.

Michel entered professional acting by auditioning for a modeling agency which he was introduced to by a neighbor.  He starred in the television series ‘Things We Do for Love‘, acquiring his nickname “Shaker” on the set. He has stared in many Nollywood movies and Ghanian movies.

Majid Michel is married to Virna Michel and they have three adorable children which unfortunately all happen to be girls. The last girl was born in somewhere 2016.

The first two are Kiera and Zara Michel. Kiera Michel is known by Ghanaians because of his role we with his mother in the family-themed advert for Gino.
