Marry someone who will give you peace, and not someone who wears fancy wigs – Afia Pokuaa on Harold’s wife
On April 1, Ghanaian star Harold Amenyah and his bride, Irene, ruled social media discussions after videos and pictures from their traditional marriage surfaced online.
Harold’s wife, who looked stunning in a completely embroidered kente costume, was regrettably called out for her hairstyle. Critics mocked the newlywed who wore her pixie fringe with ease on her wedding day.
Broadcaster Afia Pokuaa, better known as Vim Lady, has chimed in to support the actor and his wife.
She implied that not every guy wants to settle down with a beautiful lady. One who spends a lot of money on purchasing and wearing the finest hair extensions or apparel, or a people-pleaser.
Afia penned in her kind greeting to the couple: “You marry based on who will be your PEACE and support your GROWTH not who social media likes or who wears the best wigs and fancy dressing.”
Parts of her Facebook message read: “I PRAY that this marriage is blessed to be a testimony to the world @haroldamenyah congratulations to you and wifey.”
