Margaret Riley, a prominent talent/literary manager, partner at Lighthouse Management & Media, and producer on the 2019 film “Bombshell,” passed away at her Brentwood home at the age of 58 on Tuesday.
The news of her death was confirmed by her friends Lainie Becky and Matthew Weinberg.

Margaret Riley’s cause of death was a private battle with ovarian cancer, and she died peacefully at her home in Brentwood. She is survived by her children, daughter Dylan (14) and son Will (10), as well as her mother, Doris.
Who Was Margaret Riley?
Margaret Riley had a distinguished career in Hollywood spanning over 30 years. She started in production, working on commercials, features, and documentaries. She joined Brillstein Entertainment Partners in October 2006 and later moved to Lighthouse Management & Media in March 2016.
Born on December 9, 1965, Riley graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. She then pursued film studies at the AFI in Los Angeles.
Over the years, she held various roles, including director of development at Virtual World Entertainment and manager at Industry Entertainment (formerly Addis/Wechsler). In 2002, she established her management company, Margaret Riley Management, before joining Brillstein.
Beyond her career, Margaret Riley was actively involved in social causes and served on the board of Proclaim Justice, a nonprofit dedicated to providing legal support to wrongfully convicted individuals
