Brian Barczyk’s cause of death was attributed to Stage 4 inoperable pancreatic cancer. His battle with the disease was shared with his followers through a poignant video titled “This is Goodbye,” posted just nine days before his passing. In the video, Barczyk expressed gratitude for the transformative journey he experienced and the challenges faced during the agonizing year-long fight against cancer.

In his final message to his 5.2 million subscribers, Barczyk acknowledged the difficulty of the past year and the unpredictable nature of cancer treatment. Despite the pain, he maintained his commitment to creating experiences and opportunities for people to love animals. He reassured his audience that, although they wouldn’t see him, the message and mission would endure.
