Man saves a baby thrown into a river by the mother – Video

A good Samaritan saved a baby whose mother had thrown him into a river in Lagos State’s Badagry district, averting a potential catastrophe.

A social media video shows the man rescuing the infant from a river where his mother had abandoned him, leaving him for dead.

Sad! The woman threw her baby into a river, and he was saved.

After the infant was pulled from the river, the man and some bystanders attempted to revive him and flush the water from his system.

When questioned, the mother, who appeared to be mentally unbalanced, stated that she was tired of life. She also added that her son has lived long enough because he has completed his naming ceremony and is now ready to leave the world.

Meanwhile, the passerby who rescued the youngster has rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
