The Martha Ankomah Foundation has donated GHC12,000 in items to the Rising Star Orphanage in Dodowa, Ghana’s Greater Accra Region.
As part of its philanthropic efforts, the Martha Ankomah Foundation decided to honor the birthday of the Martha Ankomah Foundation’s director, Mr. Isaac Yaw Opoku-Okuampa, by blessing the orphanage with a variety of items, including bags of rice, drinks, bottled water, cooking oil, mosquito sprays, and many more, as well as an undisclosed sum of money.
The foundation is a social organization led by renowned Ghanaian actress, Miss Martha Ankomah, that seeks to help and support the lives of all groups of people in society.
The creation of social impact is geared toward children, youth, women, men, and the less fortunate in the country.
Ms. Martha Ankomah encouraged the children to stay focused and not see themselves as less fortunate, and to remember that God has a plan for everyone on Earth.
She also pleaded with various organizations to come and support the foundation so that it could reach out to more needy children across the country.
Ms. Martha Ankomah thanked Willmar Africa, Frytol Oil Ghana, Fortune Rice Ghana, Alife Ghana, and Mr. Kweku Asiedu for their assistance.
Mr. Isaac Yaw Opoku-Okuampa, the foundation’s Director and Lecturer at Jayee University College, also thanked God for allowing him to celebrate his birthday with Rising Star Orphanage. He also urged stakeholders to help children at various orphanages.
He assured the orphanage that this would not be their final visit.
Aunty Bebi, the owner of Rising Star Orphanage, who received the items, thanked the foundation for their assistance.
“I had no idea that we would be receiving such a wonderful item from the Martha Ankomah Foundation within this week.”
She pleaded with other stakeholders to help them.
