The story of marital abuse that resulted in the death of Nigerian artist Osinachi appears to have opened up avenues for women to discuss their violent marriages and relationships.
Tolani, a Twitter user, has come out to share her story about how she got back at her partner for slapping her over a little issue.
According to her, they had a minor misunderstanding and her then-boyfriend gave her a filthy slap.
She went on to say that it hurt her so deeply that she couldn’t bear letting go and letting him get away with it.
Tolani went on to say that as she was about to leave her boyfriend’s house, she noticed old slippers on the floor, which she grabbed and slammed against the back of his neck before fleeing, and that was the end the relationship.
