According to reports, a newlywed woman burned her husband with fire while he slept because she believed he had cheated on her with another woman and become pregnant as a result.
The woman, known only as Ife, believed her husband Bolu was cheating. As a result, she wrote an angry letter on her WhatsApp stories, accusing Bolu of having “pushed her to the edge” and threatening that before dawn, people would mourn over the two of them.
While visiting Nigeria, Bolu, who was based in Cairo, Egypt, was burned alive and his possessions were destroyed when his home was set on fire.
A few images that have subsequently become widely circulated online demonstrate the degree of the young man’s physical injury after being brought to the hospital.
Ife apparently killed herself as well after committing such a horrible deed.
