Kumawood has received yet another terrible news with the death of actor Patrick Safo.
Blogger Osei Kwabena broke the news of the Kumawood actor’s death on Facebook, writing:
“Kumawood actor and pastor, Rev. Patrick Safo is dead… May his soul rest with the Lord.”
The actor drowned, according to the official social media account of Ghanaian newspaper The Spectator, even though the blogger did not specify the cause of death.
“It is alleged that he drowned yesterday in a pool,” another social media user corroborated the story.
Rev. Patrick’s death has shocked social media because of how young, bright and enthusiastic he was.
Patrick’s death comes on the heels of another Kumawood star, Osei Tutu Nyamekese, who died a few weeks ago.
