According to reports from Kumasi, the Asante Kotoko supporter who ran onto the Baba Yara Stadium did so to celebrate a 1 billion cedi betting victory.
The fan went to attend the game in the hopes of winning a long slip if Asante Kotoko won.
All of the games on his long slip had been completed, with Kotoko winning the final game of the day.
The fan began undressing in the 87th minute, with the score at 1-0 and only 3 minutes remaining in the game.
When the game was about to come to a close, the fan scaled the stadium’s inner perimeter and ran frantically to celebrate two things: the kotoko win and his GH1 Billion betting win.
