Actor Kofi Adjorlolo made headlines in Ghana after he made claims that 7 movie producers owe him money in Ghana and he is warning them to come and settle.
A statement that got him going head to head with tailor Elikem who thought acting was not a full-time job so Adjorlolo should quit being lazy and find a day job.
The veteran actors cries that producers owe him, came after he was told that a recent report online valued his net worth at $800,000.
He said.
“About seven producers in this country owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home, I’m hungry, and then when I’m sick too nobody pays attention,” he fumed. “Look we have elderly people lying down on their sickbeds and these producers owe them. Actors in Ghana here know what I’m talking about, these producers don’t pay!”
He explained saying;
“Some of the producers in Ghana here, they should respect themselves…old man like me, they call me to come and work and they can’t pay me…,” a seeming frustrated Adjorlolo complained.
What irked him the most was the fact that he is said to be worth $800,000 when in actual fact, he has been starved for years. While stating that many Ghanaian movie producers do not pay actors for their roles in movies, the veteran intimated that a number of actors are still in the business because of the passion they have for it.

His statement triggered the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), to issue him a 14 day warning to use the right channels to retrieve back his money.
James Aboagye, who is the boss of the Association, has disclosed that Kofi Adjorlolo has brought the names to him, but it appears the names he has summited so far are not part of the association.
“He has given me two names so far and those producers are not even FIPAG members. We would issue a statement. We have to let people know.” he said.
he added that they will do anything possible to get the money from the producers to Kofi Ajorlolo.
